Even With all this fancy equipment, excluding the modules, i find the Mahan to be a agonizing ship to play with when its stock. As of right now, I see potential in the Mahan's top configuation of modules, upgrades, and various captian skills. Ok, so the Tier VII US DD needs some work. Any advice or tips on how to play with this stock warship will be very much appreciated. At this rate ill be in my 30's B4 i get this thing maxed out, let alone reach the top of the US Tech Tree. The Mahan, even with Concealment Expert, while trying to get into a good spot near a channel, still gets spotted pretty easily, leading to you getting focused down, thus netting only about 600 XP per game. I will admit ive had moments where the stock torps proved more useful as they were faster, but those moments tend to come along once every like 20 games, and all other times i just end up getting owned, despite standard US DD tactics such as ambushes.
